Wow, that was an adventure. I have gone back to this game time to time in attempts to try to understand it, but I think for the users not quite grasping the idea, there's a tip for those who decide they don't want to come back to it.. If you're excited or are jumpy, this might not be the game for you.. it is indeed a bit slow paced, kinda gradual really.

It's kind of you just sort of flow into it. for me it took about 5 times to really get the gist.. other times I was like "does this ever actually end?" Moreover, I think I just like the look. The way the enemies, they're enemies? Dance around. The way the levels are built.. The way the levels are ... recycled.. and the dance the enemies make. The player, all about business. just doing a non-malicious walk, just doing his thing, just wants to get by.

Makes you wonder who the enemy and who the friends are here because clearly, I would want to be friends with both of them. But the objective of the game isn't to shoot the wavemen and waveladies, or even the generator blocks, but to make each bullet count and garner the patience to proceed through. You've got three of them every minute... I'm pretty sure they accrue over time too. The trick is the bullet doesn't stop when you hit an "enemy?" it keeps going.. Just in case you don't want to decide for yourself. So instead of blowing through the 3 pieces of ammo the moment you get them, hold onto them, try different angles. When done right it sort of acts more like a puzzle. One that ignites your soul if you give it a chance. One worth the wait and patience and following through to the end. I just have to say it's worth it, I'm looking at it now.

But yeah, when I first played it I thought wow this is a take on "insert this typical game name here" but with what you're given and the way it flows, well, it's really not. I've seen reviews saying it might need music, or more effects, but I don't know. I think it's quaint the way it is.. Like I couldn't wrap my head around envisioning anything else.

And I can't even wrap my head around finishing this game because it's not quite my style and I'm normally not patient enough to go through an ordeal like this. But these have been nullified through the passage of time, the gameplay is almost tough as nails at first but in a fair way and I can't think of anything else to stack on top of it aside from a longer intro because sometimes those intros are the best part of clicking on these games. The relevance isn't here though, it's that they're spread out through all them, I just hope if another game pops up more of them are presented.

But yeah, take your time with this one as difficult as it is for even me to say and, well, come back later because it's not like you'll lose anything by doing that but replaying a couple levels which will be easier when coming back, and .. you'll be rewarded.

Not a bad effort. I like the levels.. and.. did that text just run away from me? So much more could be done with this, yet, so much is already done right here. You may or may not get the nodded approval i've given from other users, but this is very nice. I like the fades of detail. The way the levels work is a bit glichy, the way you hug a side and it restarts. I'm sure there's gotta be a way to evade that.. maybe make the ceilings higher in your frames/levels/whatnot. Perhaps more filler is needed, but it's your world and I thank you for allowing me to play it. You've done the world a great service, I only expect you to excel beyond that is already here. But don't let it go to your head and it'll come naturally.

Also the ending screen. I presume is the end. Maybe really letting the user know that would be an effect. It is a wonderful scenario, and while i should take some half stars out, I'll give them back knowing that the hot dog is the part of the plot. That's what's essential here. Great efforts, and good output. 5/5

Yeah, this game is nothing short of amazing. You'd expect just another sports game.. Well, really you don't, or at least I didn't. You get something amazing in a little package. Just when you think it's just a small minigame rehit of the same endless fun, you are hit up with new stages, unlockables, passwords, and funky tracks that involve accordions, brass solos and standup bass. I only ran into this because it was in a little directory. I'm glad I clicked on it. It's not my genre, or my style, but it pushed on and proved me wrong. Nice overall look/style. The only thing I'd say otherwise about it is the giant site embed, but hey you want to tag your turf go ahead. You're providing the entertainment.

Also a small bug, when clicking the back arrow after getting or losing a goal. if you do it during the clapping, and then go back and play the game, you'll see a an inexplicable goal during the beginning of the first match point of the new match, if that makes any sense. Otherwise it's more of a novelty than a bug. Thanks for bringing soul back to our sports games. This isn't what the world thinks it needs, but needs. Your contribution is essential to our well being. 1 on 12 soccer - brazil needs to be preserved for posterity. Future generations are in your debt.

Haha.. Thanks so much man. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The site logo is the sponsors contribution but they are the ones paying the big money so hey, whatcha gonna do?

This thing is so powerful I don't know what to do with it. It is almost like a demonic pandora in a box kind of thing. You try to open it and it invades your screen... try to alt tab back to it... and it just chimes at you... over and over, asking you to feed it notations and walls so it can give you a design, but it won't respond to you because its endeavors are beyond human comprehension, beyond the sub conscience and straight into the ether, in a land no man or woman or sea hoss can grasp. That is, till now..

Take a walk to the wild side and you'll arrive here, at the most musical gadget thing that is hard to grasp, but lends success. It will attempt to eat your soul and might make you mad but how can you say no when the note smiles back at you like that? Sweet logos like that make you stare at them for days and you're wondering why you're looking at them, off into the wilderness of the wild sun, like HEY WHAT GIVE ME BACK MY HAMBURGER I WAS BUSY STARING AT THE WRAPPER NO I DONT WANT TO GO BACK IN SERGEANT OKAY ILL GO BACK BUT I'D BETTER GET TO GO BACK TO THE BUTTERFLY FACTORY.

ADD A FAN.

I have no idea where I'm at or how I got here. By that I know how I got here but I have to say I can't relate to anything going on here because I don't know any of these people but I have a soft spot for greeting card type stuff. Fan-worthy and charming, and linklonk is great. I like the Hammm one too. Keep up the good work!

Alright, I initially clicked on this game to see what my detractors were saying about other games they reviewed. I thought it wasn't gonna be good because I dunno, the all-caps, the spelling, the direction in general. I thought it was gonna be less than what was inside, but don't judge a book by its cover.. I took a point away due to fact that the replay button doesn't work, but gave half back because it's categorized just right and i had an overall positive experience playing it.

Naturally, if you think I'm being too harsh let me know, but I think with a little bit more agenda pushing and some more clipart Da Best Game looks pretty good too. I think with a little bit more time you could become a new favorite developer by many. Cheers, -b!

Yeah, this one ugs super hard. I love the way there are multiple ways of attack. I also like that you have to sacrifice all your collected debris to launch a boost. The death noise doesn't quite fit the scheme of sound effects would be my only gripe, and trust me I got that noise a LOT. I would have to say I can't believe I didn't check this one out sooner. The overall scheme and the way you got the xmas music in there, it gives off a nice xmas card effect. Lovin the text effects at the beginning, and somehow you've got something original and fun, just difficult enough to make you retry 30 times. It's minimalist, but pretty. Cheers!

Like you'll even see this from all the other reviews here. Yeah, that's how to rep an ug! Nobody here knows where it came from and you provide no backstory to its existence.. I think you did pretty wonderful here..

MarkP0rter responds:

Well I saw it so thank you very much.

I think it's safe to say games like these are indeed a dime a dozen, the concept can be done on regular cards, and have been around since the early era of time. The delivery is solid though, and I like the layout, the sound, and the graphics used. This really does surprise and it's probably the best of its kind that I have played. Skip over it if you don't think innovation can be accomplished from card memory, but for the skeptics who want to give this a chance, pressing play is okay too.

Look at how much fun everyone is having. I know I'm having fun. Missing something? maybe. But add something? It might harm the equilibrium and intend to harm us all from accessing this quality release. It's a lot into it.. I love the controls, and the sound effects. This is perfect, and quaint. High score? High in love this release.
